After losing our son to fentanyl poisoning on July 17, 2024, we realized we weren’t alone—countless families share this unimaginable pain. Determined to turn grief into action, we founded Friends & Family Affected by Fentanyl on January 15, 2025, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources, education, and support for those affected by fentanyl and substance use disorders.
Our mission is to raise awareness, support families, and fight for change, but we can’t do it alone. A
$5 donation from each person who reads this will help us launch outreach programs and bring hope to families in need.
We are proud to share a major achievement in the fight against addiction—the approval of a Recovery School in Virginia Beach. This initiative, highlighted in WAVY News, is a significant step in providing students affected by substance use with a supportive learning environment. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to education, advocacy, and real change in our communities. Together, we are building a future where recovery and education go hand in hand.
Our mission resonates widely as we connect with families across the United States, tackling the challenges posed by fentanyl with unwavering resolve. By fostering a nationwide community, we share diverse experiences and collective wisdom, reinforcing the idea that no family should face this battle alone.
Through local engagements and national advocacy, we raise our voices to influence positive change and drive meaningful action. In unison, we amplify our impact to create safer, healthier environments for all those affected by this devastating substance.
